Performance Benefits

The 3.5-inch-thick bar-and-plate core provides substantial cooling capacity while the strategically designed fin configuration promotes efficient heat exchange with minimal pressure loss. Mishimoto rates the intercooler to support vehicles producing up to 600 whp and reports a dyno-tested gain of approximately 10 whp and 10 tq on a stock Evo X.

The cast-aluminum end tanks are designed to provide smooth airflow through the intercooler while offering excellent durability under increased boost pressure. The intercooler can also be used with factory or aftermarket intercooler piping.
