Description
Compared to the standard five-speed version, the six-speed sequential kit allows for faster acceleration and, most importantly, faster gear changes. This gearbox is the ideal choice for all disciplines with engine torque up to 900 Nm, where speed and reliability are important. A wide choice of gear ratios and final drives allows you to tailor the gearbox to your specific needs. This is a kit to rebuild the original OEM 5 speed gearbox. The gearbox can also be supplied in a “complete” version – including all new OEM parts. Turn your EVO into a hidden weapon against your opponents!
The cases of sequential gearbox Mitsubishi EVO IV-IX are casted of ultra lightweight aluminium that meets the highest requirements for strength and durability without unnecessary weight. The kit fits to OEM 5 speed bellhousing.
The gearbox consists of upgraded high performance gears, shafts, billet selector forks and rods, all made of the highest quality steel that is specially heat treated. Thanks to this the strength is ensured. All parts are REM isotropic superfinished to achieve smooth function in parts contact areas.
Major Advantages
Thanks to inovative design the gearbox contains internal oil pump, therefore it lubricates perfectly, which increases life span of the gearbox. It has also possibility to easily connect additional oil cooler when inlet and outlet hoses are disassembled.

Shifting and gear ratios
There is one elementary option of gear ratio for 5 speed gearbox and two for 6 speed. However, gear ratios can be combined and can be made with longer or shorter 1st gears. Because ratios can be mutually mixed, there is wide range of gear ratio combinations.

Kit or Complete Gearbox
X Shift offers either sequential kits or complete transmissions assembled with OEM parts and ready to install in your car. OEM parts can be supplied by the customer or we can supply brand new parts.
Complete gearbox
Fitting a complete gearbox at X Shift saves the time and ensures that the assembly will be done correctly. The OEM components used are the standard bellhousing, centre differential with bearings and small parts like bearings, speed sensor, reverse sensor etc.
