The KSport Version DR Drag Race Coilovers (CMT150-DR) are purpose-built for serious drag racing applications on the 2003–2007 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 and 9. Designed to optimize traction, control weight transfer, and improve launch performance, these coilovers combine drag-specific spring rates, adjustable damping, and advanced suspension components for precise tuning.
Carefully chosen spring rates and shock valving optimize weight transfer while launching. Each kit is designed specifically for FWD, RWD, or AWD vehicles. These coilovers are intended for drag-racing applications and are not designed for daily driving use.
Featuring 36 levels of damping adjustment, the Version DR coilovers allow you to fine-tune your suspension for your specific setup. Damping adjustment changes compression and rebound simultaneously, providing effective and user-friendly suspension tuning.
Most components, including mounts, collars, and spring perches, are manufactured from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for lightweight strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. Steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc to help protect against rust and the elements. An anti-rust paste packet is also included for additional protection.
The adjustable lower mount allows ride-height adjustment without sacrificing suspension travel. You can achieve your desired ride height while maintaining proper shock travel and reducing the risk of bottoming out. Applications using a separate rear shock and spring can also utilize the spring perch and lower shock mount for extensive height adjustment.

The KSport DR Drag Race Coilovers utilize a monotube design that separates oil and gas inside the cylinder. Compared with twin-tube construction, the monotube design provides improved heat dissipation and more consistent damping performance while reducing the likelihood of aeration and cavitation.
Advanced pillowball mounts on applicable MacPherson-strut vehicles provide increased suspension adjustability and reduced flex. Depending on the application, the mounts can allow camber and caster adjustment, helping you fine-tune suspension geometry and tire contact-patch positioning for improved performance. Adjustment availability varies by application.
Dust boots are standard on KSport coilovers and help protect the damper seals from dirt and debris. The bump stop is integrated inside the dust boot for improved protection and durability.
KSport Version DR Drag Race Coilovers include a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects.
The Version DR system is engineered for straightforward installation and vehicle-specific fitment. KSport engineers test fitment, clearance, ride height, and other application-specific details to ensure proper installation and compatibility.
