The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler is a direct-fit upgrade engineered specifically for the 2008–2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. Designed for the turbocharged 4B11T engine, this intercooler provides improved charge-air cooling, reduced heat soak, and increased airflow efficiency for both modified street cars and high-performance Evo X builds.

Performance Benefits

The 3.5-inch-thick bar-and-plate core provides substantial heat-transfer surface area while the strategically designed fins help maintain low pressure loss. Mishimoto states that the intercooler is capable of supporting vehicles producing up to 600 whp. Their testing also demonstrated approximately 10 whp and 10 tq gains on a stock Evo X.

The robust cast-aluminum end tanks are designed for smooth airflow and improved durability, making this intercooler suitable for higher boost pressures, upgraded turbochargers, and aggressive street, drag, or track applications.

Installation

This is designed as a direct-fit bolt-on intercooler and can be used with either the factory or aftermarket intercooler piping. The included CNC mounting pegs must be installed by the customer.
