Function

The MF660065 is designed to be compressed between the mating surfaces of a fluid-line connection. When properly tightened, the soft copper material conforms to the surfaces and creates a tight seal, helping prevent coolant or fluid leaks.

It is especially important when servicing turbocharger coolant lines, where the washer is used with the appropriate banjo/eyebolt connection.

Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Application

For Evo V, VI, VII, VIII and IX, the 14 mm MF660065 washer is used in the turbocharger water-line assembly. One parts reference specifies four washers for the relevant Evo 5/6/7/8/9 water-line configuration, although the product itself is sold individually.

Important Installation Note

Copper crush washers are generally intended to be replaced whenever the corresponding banjo/eyebolt or fluid-line connection is removed, rather than reused. Using a new washer helps restore the proper sealing surface and reduces the chance of leaks.
