WORKS Shifter Console Bushings
The WORKS polyurethane Shifter Console Bushings significantly increase the stiffness between the plastic shifter cage and the steel chassis for a more direct shifting feel. NOTE: These are not solid metal bushings which provide no “give” and can fatigue the plastic cage as it takes all of the load.
The OEM rubber bushings in the EVO are already stiffer (higher durometer) than the rubber in the regular Lancer. We have simply taken it one step further without compromising the longevity of the shifter assembly. Also, WORKS Shifter Console Bushings maintain the correct height of the shifter cage for proper shifter cable alignment.
